LONG GRASS/NOXIOUS WEEDS
Please be reminded that Section 302.4 of the City of
Sault Ste. Marie Property Maintenance Code requires that all
developed property be kept free of long grass/noxious weeds. Long
grass/noxious weeds is also considered a public nuisance as
enumerated in Section 18-4 and prohibited by Section 18-2 of the
City Code of Ordinances. If you have questions or would like
to report a property in violation of this code, please contact the
City Building Department at (906) 632-5700.

schedule your REQUIRED APPOINTMENT. They start taking
appointments 2 weeks before each scheduled day of collection.

in the 2010 Census is still easy. After April 23rd, you can have a
census worker fill out a form for you over the phone. Just call

VOUCHERS FOR TRANSFER STATION
DISPOSAL FEES AVAILABLE FOR CITY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OWNERS
BEGINNING APRIL 19
A limited number (1400)
of $25 vouchers for Transfer Station dumping fees are available for
City residential property owners at the City Clerk's office, City
Hall, 325 Court Street, during normal office hours beginning April
19. One voucher per developed residential tax parcel will be
available on a 'first-come-first-served"
basis while supplies last.
